1. Order of Movement. Does play occur in a set order?
Once the starting boat is chosen at the beginning of the game, the game turns will always keep this order regardless of the boat in the lead. Normally, in a match race the defender moves first at the beginning of the starting procedure. In a regatta any order can be chosen.
2. When in Broad Reach, a boat should have an opponent boat in front or on a contested intersection without having the right of way, could it stop?
Yes: during a sailing race, a boat can always unfurl its sails staying still on its intersection and so skipping its turn. This movement can be made in any Sailing Point, not only in Broad Reach.
3. During the starting procedure, a boat cannot manoeuvre on the same intersection for more than 2 turns. If the boat reached that intersection Broad Reach with the optional manoeuvre, would this one be counted as one of the two?
No, it would not count.
