Aim of the game

At the end of the second cartoon series, Lupin and his gang (Jigen, Goemon e Fujiko) are still looking for the next heist. "Red ruby" in Burma and "The great bank robbery" in Switzerland are two new missions for the famous thieves. Players choose to play the role of Inspector Zenigata and his agents or Lupin III and his gang or just one of them. The gang's main aim of the game is to steal the treasures and escape from the law. Inspector Zenigata's aim is to arrest them.

But be aware of Fujiko: although she usually works together with the others, she occasionally exploits Lupin's interest in her to steal the treasure for herself.

How to play

Players:immagine-presentazionegioco-totale_web.png
- choose the episode to play and consequently which board to use: "Ruby red" or "The Great Bank Robbery";
- choose to play one of the characters of Lupin's gang or Zenigata;
- receive 2 mission cards if they play a character of Lupin's gang.

PHASE 1: Zenigata places the policemen into position;
PHASE 2: Lupin's gang plans the robbery by assigning tasks and equipment;
PHASE 3: Game turns (maximum 13). During the turns, the players of Lupin's gang try to move about invisibly on the board while Zenigata attempts to stop them from leaving the game map with the treasure. When they are invisible and their figurine is not physically positioned on the board and is not visible, they note down their moves in the "mission notes". During their turn, players may use weapons and play actions in line with the characters that play them.
PHASE 4: Seizing the treasure.

Every character has personal values listed on the character card:
1.    Move;
2.    Ability to shoot with a gun;
3.    Ability to shoot with a rifle;
4.    Ability to throw the knife;
5.    Ability to hit during a hand-to-hand fight;
6.    Ability to dodge a blow subjected to during a hand-to-hand fight.

The mission cards are played and drawn during the game changing the priority of the actions to play. The mission cards are linked to the characteristics of the single characters and are at the heart of the game. When played, the characters perform brave, moral, skillful,.... actions. Furthermore, the game provides for Fujiko Mine to betray in any time the gang.

Rules of visibility, plans, assaults, disguises,...give to the game an incredible taste of adventure in the perfect LUPIN style. Over a strong link to the cartoon, the game also offers many ironic and paradoxical situations.

The most famous devices used by the gang complete the game: Fiat 500, hang glider, radio, shovel to dig a trap, knife, Fujiko's Kawasaki, etc...

Will Zenigata arrest Lupin III and his gang at last?

VARIATION: instead of playing in by the imperfect cooperative method, players can choose to play all against all. Several changes must be applied to the rules. The gang members play together to begin with but then each one of them will try and win the game by trying to accumulate the greatest number of mission points.
